About the EDC
The Economic Development Council is a subgroup of volunteers under the Central Bradford County Chamber of Commerce tasked with helping the chamber support, promote, and grow the Central Bradford County economy. This is primarily done in three ways:
- The Chamber's Scholarship and Grant Program
- The Chamber's Leadership & Management Training Program
- Direct economic development initiatives
The Chamber Scholarship and Grant Program
The CBCCC's Scholarship and Grant program is a new economic development initiative by the CBCCC that focuses on putting money in the hands of Central Bradford County business owners to help them grow and prosper. The EDC serves as the primary administrative group of the S&G program for the chamber, working to financially support the S&G Fund as well as recommend recipients to the chamber's Board of Directors
Leadership & Management Training
The CBCCC's EDC will support the workforce development needs of Central Bradford County through free Leadership & Management training for chamber members and their employees. More information on this program will be released as it becomes available.
Direct Economic Development Initiatives
Last but not least, the EDC will work on several direct economic development initiatives both on its own and in conjunction with other chamber committees and councils as our organization continues to grow.
Join the EDC!
